When I first played Homeworld, I was able to get to around level 5-6, before the game became impossibly difficult (lack of resources for building a sizable fleet). Do I have to have ships down to a certain level of health before they can be salvaged? The salvage ship locks on but it wont return it to the mothership.? I think this is the second or third campaign mission. Tactically indespensible, the Porter, in sufficient. It is not present during the Cataclysm Era.
